Step 2 IP Address Settings

This shows how to set the IP address for a detected device.

If the device whose IP address will be set is connected to the same broadcast

domain, the IP address can be set using the procedure below even if the IP

segment is dierent from the computer making the setting.

If the IP address is set dynamically by a DHCP server, a xed IP address can be set

here.

Note:

This function cannot be used for devices that are connected outside the broadcast

domain.

In the Map window, right-click the TeraStation whose IP address you want to

set and select Register Administrator Password.

Enter the TeraStation's administrator password and click OK.

In the Map window, right-click the device whose IP address you want to set

and select IP Address Settings.

Multiple devices can be selected from the Check Target Device window.

Note:

If using the WS-VL series or WS-QL series, enter the administrator username in the

eld for Administrative Username.
